PROMISE #95 - APRIL 5

But now, O LORD, Thou art our father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand. ~Isaiah 64:8

Genesis tells us that God made Adam out of dirt from the ground. I wonder if the way things were made in the Garden of Eden is similar to what Isaiah talks about in today's Bible passage.

God is a kind Father who made us with His own hands. He is watching each of us as He shapes and molds us into the image of the Son He loves (Romans 8:29). He is on our side, and we are His work! What a deep and simple idea.

Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God's work, made in Jesus Christ to do the good works that He planned for us to do ahead of time. The enemy of our souls would like us to think differently. Today, I pray that we all see how blessed we are just because our Heavenly Father made us!

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for making me in my mother's womb and for making me one of Your most beautiful works of art. Even though I live in a world that sometimes makes me feel like I'm not enough, today I choose to say that I am wonderfully made and that my loving Heavenly Father made me in His image.
