Promise #35 - February 4

In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. ~Colossians 1:22

Nothing else could do what Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross has done for each of us. Jesus died to make peace between us and His Father so that He could present us as holy and without blame to Him. The Father sees us as perfect because of Jesus, and we are free from blame.

We are this way in God's eyes because of Jesus' blood, not because of anything we have done to earn or deserve His favor. When you have a wrong or sinful thought again, think about this promise and the amazing power of the cross. Because Jesus Christ died for you, you are considered holy and free from blame.

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for seeing me as holy and without sin because of what Jesus did for me when He died and rose again. I want to accept this truth more today than ever so I can be free from the enemy's lies that try to make me feel unloved and unaccepted in Your eyes.

I am so thankful for Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, who made things right between us by dying on the cross. Please help me believe the truth instead of lies today.
