The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. ~Psalm 37:18 Today’s Scripture verse is by King David, who says that the Lord knows all the days of the upright. David also says in Psalm 139:16 that each of our days was written down in a special book before any of them happened.
God knows us through and through and loves us wholeheartedly. He looks on those whom He loves, and their inheritance is safe forever. Those who have said “yes” to Jesus can rest in the unshakeable, eternal inheritance we have in Christ. A hope that shall not fade or lose its worth. You are so precious to God, and he loves to watch over you. May the truth of this promise bring hope to your heart today that you are indeed safe and secure in the big, strong arms of your Heavenly Dad. Prayer: Father, thank You for having written all the days of my life in Your special book before any of them ever came to be. I am amazed that You know me so well, yet You love me with all Your heart. Help me to rest in the promise of the unshakeable inheritance.
