PROMISE #217 - AUGUST 5

"By thee have I been holden up from the womb: . . . " ~Psalm 71:6

In Psalm 71, David declares it was God that took him out of his mother's womb.

What a glorious prospect! God our Father was present the day you were born! Many people feel they were an accident of sorts because their parents didn’t plan their birth. This Bible promise says just the opposite! Never has a mistake been made in the birth of any human being! God had planned each birth and was there to meet us in the delivery room.

If you find it difficult to believe you belong in this world, I pray this promise sinks deep into your heart. God has knitted you in your mother’s womb, and He has given you care from your birth until today. He will always care for you because you are precious to Him!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for choosing me to be a part of Your family before You created the world. The truth is, You have always wanted me, and You were the one who welcomed me on the day of my birth. Would the revelation of Your overwhelming parental love for me overshadow any rejection I experience today?
