PROMISE #39 - FEBRUARY 8

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. ~Psalm 32:8

God doesn't let us figure out life on our own. The Bible says that He is closer to us than we can even imagine. King David writes in Psalm 139 that God knows everything about us and is familiar with all our ways (Psalm 139:1–3). Today's promise says that God has promised to teach us how to go and show us the best way.

May the promise of our Father's gentle guidance give us peace and comfort today. We should know that we are not alone in this world. A loving Father who only wants what's best for us guides each step we take.

God is everything we need when we need Him. He is our father, brother, friend, healer, redeemer, and teacher. There are so many ways that the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) watches over us all the time that time and space would not be able to describe them all.

​Prayer

Thank You, Father, for promising to teach and guide me through every moment of my life. I hope that I will become more aware of the many ways that your Holy Spirit is already guiding me.

Please help me understand more deeply today that I am not alone on this journey because You have promised to lovingly guide me through the good and difficult days and that You only want what is best for me.

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
