Bible Promises

"I think that when people give themselves time to be quiet, God will really speak wonderful things to their hearts. These promises are for people who will take the time to listen. They won't try to outdo the noise of the world or impress with special effects. They are for the hurting, the weak, and the searching." ~Mark Wash

PROMISE #108 - APRIL 18

4/18/2026

I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation. ~Isaiah 12:2

Picture
God is happy when we trust Him. To trust God, we have to give up trying to control everything and give our lives to Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to put all our faith in the Lord and not to rely on what we think we know. God wants us to accept His care today instead of trying to get through life on our own.

We won't be afraid of anything that comes our way when we know that our God and Father is really trustworthy. We will know for sure that the LORD is our strength, our song, and our only way to be saved. But before we can fully enjoy the benefits of living a fearless life full of God's strength and song, we need to work on trust.

God wants to give us back our childlike faith. We can rebuild the trust that was broken in childhood with our Heavenly Father, who is always trustworthy. I pray that we all have more faith in our Abba today than we did yesterday and that our faith in God will grow every day for the rest of our lives.

God is the one who saves us. We won't be afraid because we trust in His goodness. He is our song and our strength every day. Thank God for this great salvation!

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for being trustworthy in every way and for being someone I can trust. Please heal every area of broken trust in my life so that I can really trust You with all my heart. I pray today that my life will boldly proclaim Your great love and strength, which has saved me in Christ.

I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

    About

Although every promise in the Bible is important, not all apply to the child of God. If you have made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, all of the promises are precious and important! If you haven't yet felt God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ, we hope that by reading these promises, you will gain a better idea of how great God is and how great His plans and purposes are for your life.

2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds the child of God that no matter how many promises God has made, they are all "Yes" in Christ. And so we say "Amen" through Him to bring glory to God. The apostle Paul writes, "For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."

We hope that each daily promise will teach you more about the God who keeps all promises.
