Bible Promises

"I think that when people give themselves time to be quiet, God will really speak wonderful things to their hearts. These promises are for people who will take the time to listen. They won't try to outdo the noise of the world or impress with special effects. They are for the hurting, the weak, and the searching." ~Mark Wash

PROMISE #90 - MARCH 31

3/31/2026

Picture

(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them. ~Deuteronomy 4:31

Our God is kind. He cares about us and loves us very much. In today's promise, God tells Israel that He will never leave them, hurt them, or forget the promises He made to their ancestors. God is the best at keeping promises. He remembers every promise He has made and will keep them all.

The enemy of our soul would like us to believe something else. He has always lied about who God is and what He is like, and he will keep doing so because Jesus called him the father of lies (John 8:44). Today, let's all remember that God will keep all of His promises to us. He is good, and His mercy lasts forever (1 Chronicles 16:34). Not one of the promises He has made will ever fail us.

My prayer today is that we trust that God is who He says He is and that we are who He says we are. May faith rise up in our hearts today and call out to God, 'Lord, you are a kind God who keeps all of His promises!'

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for being a loving and merciful God who keeps all of your promises. You are so nice to me, and I know you will keep all of your promises, even when I don't believe it myself. I swear with all my heart that you will never let me down because you are my loving God and Father.

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

PROMISE #89 - MARCH 30

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. ~Psalm 116:15

Picture
Everyone has lost someone they loved. One day each and every child of glory will be safely home with God Almighty.

When one of our Father's loved ones comes home, it is a very special and holy time for God. This is an important and not a small thing. I hope that this simple but deep promise that we are important to God will bring you a lot of comfort and hope.

Our destiny is to live forever in the presence of a loving God and Father. Because of what Jesus Christ did for us, it is our birthright. This hope provides us strength to face death.

May the promise of today bring comfort to those who have lost a loved one and peace to us, knowing that it is a precious time in the eyes of our God when we are finally called home. God and our Father will one day wipe away all of our tears and take away all of our pain. (Revelation 21:4) This is the hope we all have in Jesus.

Prayer:

Thank You, Father, for seeing every death of one of Your beloved saints as a precious thing. I hope that this will bring me a lot of peace when I think about each loved one who has already passed away. May it also make my heart feel better when I think about the day I die and see You face to face.

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ~Matthew 25:34

In today's promise, Jesus tells a story about sheep and goats. On that great day, the sheep (those who are in Christ) will be welcomed into God's everlasting kingdom. Jesus says that the kingdom we will obtain was made for us from the beginning of time.

We might receive little money from our parents on this side of heaven. But when we finish our race and are welcomed into the home of our God and Father, we will receive an eternal kingdom as our inheritance.

May the truth of this promise provide us all hope today. We are not poor in God's eyes; we are richer than we thought. We have an everlasting kingdom inheritance waiting for us because we are sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, joint heirs with Jesus, and the temple of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

Prayer:

Thank You, Father, for the eternal kingdom inheritance. You made for me before the world began. I hope to remember my royal birthright today, preventing distractions from the world's broken systems. Thank You for choosing the poor of this world to be rich in Your kingdom. This means that I am accepted and chosen in the Beloved!

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

PROMISE #87 - MARCH 28

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. ~ 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Picture
We are all supposed to run our race. The writer of Hebrews 12:1-2 tells us to keep our eyes on Jesus as we run the race that is unique to each of us. We are told to remove everything that hinders us, including the sin that can easily trip us up, and to keep running our race.

It's intriguing to see that your race is different from mine. You can't run my race, and I can't run yours. We can only be who we are and follow God's plan for each of us. The good news for today is that we all have an eternal crown waiting for us at the end of our race. There is no single crown for the fastest runner or the runner with the most endurance. Everyone who finishes gets a crown!

It's wonderful to think about our Heavenly Father's heart, where everyone achieves a prize! Everyone is included. So keep going with your race. Don't give up. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who is at the end of your running lane and ready to give you a crown of glory that will last forever!

Prayer:

Thank You, Father, for the crown that will last forever at the end of my race. Today, this reminder may provide me the strength to get past anything that gets in the way of the unique race You have set before me. As I keep running with all my heart, help me keep my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of my faith.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

PROMISE #86 - MARCH 27

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. ~Galatians 6:9

Picture
When I go on a ministry trip, I can get exhausted sometimes. I am passionate about my work; however, the demands of travel, staying in various locations, and engaging with new individuals can be quite exhausting. The promise we read today says we should never become tired of doing good. Even though we may become tired in the work, we do not become tired of the work.

Paul the Apostle says in 1 Corinthians 13:13 that faith, hope, and love will always be there. Today's promise is about giving us hope so we can be stronger. Our hope in Christ is that one day we will reap a harvest if we don't give up. And God loves it when we are kind to each other!

May we all be strengthened to keep doing good for those around us today, and may it give us hope to know that if we don't give up, we will see real results.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for giving me the strength to keep going, even when I'm exhausted. Please help me stay focused on the finish line so I don't lose hope, knowing that a harvest of blessings is waiting for me. Please help me to keep doing good, even when I feel down and out. I know You're with me every step of the way, even when I'm at my weakest.

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

    About

Although every promise in the Bible is important, not all apply to the child of God. If you have made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, all of the promises are precious and important! If you haven't yet felt God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ, we hope that by reading these promises, you will gain a better idea of how great God is and how great His plans and purposes are for your life.

2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds the child of God that no matter how many promises God has made, they are all "Yes" in Christ. And so we say "Amen" through Him to bring glory to God. The apostle Paul writes, "For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."

We hope that each daily promise will teach you more about the God who keeps all promises.
