Mark Answers Your Questions

Weekly podcast answering your Bible questions

Providing a “defense” or giving an “answer” for one’s hope is based on the Greek word apologian, which carries the idea of “defending” something as a lawyer would defend his case in a court of law. From the Greek word comes the English word "apologetics",  which in Christian cirlces means "the discipline of defending” the Christian faith. In the New Testament, the Apostle Peter writes that we are always to be ready to give an answer for what we believe (1 Peter 3:15). Notice, Peter does not say the job of giving an answer is only for the pastor or professional apologist. All Christians need to be prepared to give an answer or defense when someone asks them the reason for the what they believe regarding their faith in Jesus Christ.

"Mark Answers Your Questions" is a new upcoming monthly podcast that is planned to premier on the second Monday of July (July 11). We would like to request your participation by recording a Bible-related question for us to answer. We may or may not use your question and will edit if necessary. Speak clearly and start by giving only your first name, then tell us where you are from, and then ask your question. Your recording may be up to 90 seconds, so feel free to ask a follow-up question that pertains to your original question.
