Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 43:1-5
David wanted deliverance, but he was also very aware of his discouragement. He makes it clear that God is his “exceeding joy” and the “health of my countenance.” Sometimes we can know what should be, but applying it is another matter. Is your hope in the Lord? Do you lay your burdens down at His feet? Do you praise Him?
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – “Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise Thee, O God my God.”
