Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 40:1-5
It is wonderful to know what God can do. Our discouragements and defeats are often rooted in our failure to understand Who God is, and what God can do! David uses the word “many” to describe the works that God can do. Our problem is expressed in the opening verse – waiting – “patiently.” The ability of God is clearly greater than our capacity to comprehend it (v. 5).
Verse for Meditation: Verse 3 – “And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God; many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.”
