Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 33:1-7
This psalm marks a change in David’s attitude. Up to this point, he has been dealing with discouragement and attacks by his enemies. That will not stop as we shall see in later psalms. However, at this point, his focus is on praising the Lord, which dominates the majority of the Psalms. His opening admonition is a powerful reminder of our need to center our attention upon Who God is and what God can do.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 1 – “Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright."
