Today's Bible Verse

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ephesians 4:28

Today's Bible Reading

February 26

Our Bible Reading Plan runs from the 1st to the 25th of each month. The next reading will be on the 1st of next month. Check back then!

This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
  • Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
  • Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Psalm 31:1-6
The fact is, we are going to face trials and those who care nothing about our Lord, or our commitment to Him. Often we find ourselves in compromising situations, and we are ashamed or hesitant to speak for Him and about Him. The psalmist knows that, in spite of what others said or did, his trust must be in the Lord at all times (vv. 1, 6).
  1. The prayer for deliverance – verse 1
  2. The protection of the Lord Himself – verses 2-4
  3. The prophecy of our Lord’s words on the cross – verse 5
  4. The principle that must guide us when facing what others say and do – verse 6
Verse 4 says, “For Thou art my strength.” There is no greater understanding than that – our strength is the Lord Himself! Trust Him with all your heart!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 3 – “For Thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for Thy Name’s sake lead me, and guide me.”

Today's Prayer

“I ask You, Lord, to direct my life, and to help me trust You when things are difficult.”
