Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 27:7-14
Seeking the Lord is needed not only when facing the attacks and pressures of the enemy, but when things are going well. Depending upon the Lord usually involves patience or what some call “waiting on the Lord.” The result of doing so is courage, the ability to face our trials with His help and strength. The psalmist had a great need to be instructed in the “way” of the Lord (v. 11). His “way” is not always the way in which we are going. We need to stop, and “wait” on Him!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 14 – “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
