Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 27:1-6
What a comfort and blessing this psalm is to our hearts! Life is filled with many fears and anxieties – we so need to trust in the Lord and not be afraid of what others can do to us. The psalmist makes it clear that the priority of the believer is worship or as he puts it in verse 4 “to behold the beauty of the LORD.” The songwriter said, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus; look full into His wonderful face; and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.”
Verse for Meditation: Verse 1 – “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid”
