Today's Bible Verse
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 20:1-9
We all need help and assurance that the Lord hears us when we pray to Him. Verse 5 is a great anticipation of every believing heart: “the LORD fulfill all thy petitions.” The Psalm is a prayer for God’s salvation and deliverance, as well as a treatise on what is needed on our part. We are to “rejoice” in His salvation, and “remember” His Name, and “trust” in His power and protection.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 7 – “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of the LORD our God.”
