Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 139:7-12
The psalmist moves from the omniscience of God to the omnipresence of the Lord, the fact that He is everywhere and we cannot hide from Him, nor run away from Him. It is a warning to some, but of great blessing to those who are walking with the Lord. What a joy to know that He is always there, loving, protecting, guiding, comforting, and empowering. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (age). He said in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” You may feel all alone and wonder where God is, but He has never left you.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 7 – “Whither shall I go from Thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?”
