Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 132:13-18
The wonderful promise of God concerning Zion or Jerusalem is indeed revealing. While the world fights over its possession, God says that it belongs to Him and is His “habitation.” Verse 14 adds, “This is My rest for ever.” That’s very clear. Jerusalem is the centerpiece of God’s prophetic program. Zechariah 12:1-3 tells us that this city will become a “cup of trembling” and a “burdensome stone” to all who come against her. One day we will see the “New Jerusalem” come down out of heaven from the Lord Who has been preparing a place for His own. What a day that will be!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 13 – “For the LORD hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for His habitation.”
