Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 119:73-80
The Hebrew letter yod is the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and looks like the English apostrophe. Jesus said in Matthew 5:18: “For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot (Hebrew yod) or one tittle (marking on the letter to distinguish one letter from another that looks like it) shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Even the smallest letter is important to God, and the message of this section focuses on the wonderful comfort of God. II Corinthians 1:3 speaks of “the God of all comfort.”
Verse for Meditation: Verse 77 – “Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for Thy law is my delight.”
