Today's Bible Verse
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. Deuteronomy 8:3

Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 116:1-7
The psalmist declares how the Lord heard his prayer and delivered him from the pain and sorrow of his situation. He concludes in verse 7 with the words “The LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.” The blessings of the Lord are indeed much more than we usually observe. Our circumstances blind us to the manifold ways in which the Lord is blessing us and helping us to see things from His perspective not ours. The depression that had overwhelmed him could only be taken away by the Lord Himself – how true that is!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – “Then called I upon the Name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech Thee, deliver my soul.”
