Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 107:1-8
This psalm was meant to be sung. It has a beautiful refrain in verses 8, 15, 21, and 31 – an admonition to praise the Lord for His goodness and His wonderful works. In the opening verse of this song, the emphasis is on praising the Lord and giving thanks for how He has delivered His people from the difficulties of the wilderness. Perhaps you find yourself in a difficult time, and you wonder if God knows, cares, and will help. Be assured that the Lord that is praised in his portion is the One Who still delivers – call upon Him!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 8 – “Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men.”
