Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 11:1-7
What a wonderful way to begin this psalm – “In the LORD put I my trust.” That is the only way to handle a wicked world. Verse 3 reminds us of our helplessness when the “foundations be destroyed.” No matter what the wicked do, it is our responsibility to love “righteousness” and to “trust” in the Lord alone and always!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – “The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eye-lids try, the children of men."

- The fallacy of trying to hide from what the wicked do – verses 1-2
- The foundations that are crucial – verse 3
- The fact of the Lord’s sovereignty over all – verse 4
- The future of God’s judgment upon the wicked – verses 5-6
- The face of the Lord toward the upright – verse 7
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – “The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eye-lids try, the children of men."
