Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 83:1-8
The contemporary nature of this psalm is powerful. Throughout history, leaders and nations have tried to wipe out the nation of Israel. There is a familiar listing of those nations in verses 6-8 and include such countries as Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq, traditional enemies of Israel. It is a prayer for God to act and not remain silent while Israel’s enemies are plotting their destruction. But, as we know, God sees it all, and will never allow His people to be completely destroyed – it is His covenant – Jeremiah 31:31-37.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 1 – “Keep not Thou silence, O God: hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God.”

Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
