Today's Bible Verse
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7

Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 81:8-16
Freedom is a wonderful word! But, we are not “free” to sin against God! When a “strange god” is set up, and worshipped, God’s judgment will come upon us. The problem is stated clearly here in verse 11: “But My people would not hearken to My voice.” Again, in verse 12, it describes this contemporary generation: “they walked in their own counsels.” Without the limits of God’s righteous and moral standards, genuine freedom will be lost. May God help us!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 10 – “I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
