Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 78:67-72
Ephraim, the tribe which led the northern tribes into idolatry by setting up the golden calf at Bethel, was rejected by God. Instead, God chose the tribe of Judah, the fulfillment of the prophecy pronounced by Judah’s father, Jacob, in Genesis 49:8-12. David, a son of Judah’s line, was chosen by God to lead His people. The results are well known – King David received a promise from God (the Davidic Covenant) that a descendant of his would one day sit upon his throne and rule the world – the Messiah Himself!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 72 – “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.”

- God’s refusal of the tabernacle – verse 67
- God’s recognition of Judah and Mt. Zion – verses 68-69
- God’s replacement for Saul – verses 70-71
- God’s remarks about David’s leadership – verse 72
Verse for Meditation: Verse 72 – “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.”
Today's Prayer
“Help me, Lord, to remember from where I came, and how You have blessed me.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
