Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 78:9-16
Our attention is drawn to the rebellion of the children of Ephraim, in spite of the way God took care of them and led them in the wilderness. The name “Ephraim” is used here instead of the “children of Israel” to remind us that it was “Ephraim” that caused the northern tribes to turn to idolatry (in the case of the golden calf set up at Bethel – cf. Hosea 4:17).
Verse for Meditation: Verse 10 – “They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in His law.”

- The reminder of the children of Ephraim – verse 9
- Their refusal to walk in the way of the Lord – verses 10-11
- The revelation of God’s power in delivering them from Egypt – verses 12-13
- The recognition of how God provided for them in the wilderness – verses 14-16
Verse for Meditation: Verse 10 – “They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in His law.”
Today's Prayer
“Lord, may I never forget how You have cared for me, and may I always follow You and Your Word.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
