Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 78:1-8
This section begins a lengthy psalm of 72 verses that recounts God’s workings with His people Israel. Their history reveals their often rebellious attitudes, but it also shows the wonderful compassion of God. The Lord does love whom He chastens, and does it because He wants us to be fruitful and to partake of the blessings of His holiness (Hebrews 12).
Verse for Meditation: Verse 6 – “That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children.”

- The plea to respond to God’s law – verse 1

- The passing of God’s Word to future generations – verses 5-6
- The purpose of God behind it – verses 7-8
Verse for Meditation: Verse 6 – “That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children.”
Today's Prayer
“Lord, help me never to forget what You have done, and to share it continually with my children.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
