Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 73:1-5
In spite of knowing God is good to Israel, the psalmist expresses his distress over his own condition when compared to the wicked. That is quite easy to do. The age-old question comes, “Why do the wicked prosper, and the righteous suffer?” But, God is in control, and His judgment will one day come upon the wicked, and the reward of the righteous will far exceed any of our expectations (I Corinthians 2:9).
Verse for Meditation: Verse 1 – “Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.”

- His exaltation of God’s goodness – verse 1
- His expression of his concerns – verse 2
- His envy over the prosperity of the wicked – verse 3
- His explanation of why he was troubled – verses 4-5

Today's Prayer
“Though I don’t understand why things are like they are, I trust You, Lord.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
