Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 72:16-20
Though David has spoken of his son, Solomon, his words obviously from this concluding section, refer to the Messiah. The words of verse 17 “all nations shall call Him blessed,” speak of the One Who will bless the entire world – the King Messiah – our blessed Lord! We are told that this portion of the Psalms ends the “prayers” of David, the son of Jesse. It definitely ends this section, but there are other psalms to come that David wrote.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 18 – “Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things.”

- The promise of coming prosperity – verse 16
- The permanence of His name – verse 17
- The preeminence of the One Who is blessed – verses 18-19
- The prayers of David are ended – verse 20
Verse for Meditation: Verse 18 – “Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things.”
Today's Prayer
“I desire to glorify You, Lord, in everything I say and do, awaiting the wonderful day when the whole earth will be filled with Your glory and praise!”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
