Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 71:1-6
David expresses his confidence and trust in the Lord and prays for deliverance. In this, we are brought face-to-face with the many attributes of the Lord. We read that God is our “strong habitation” and our “rock” and “fortress.” He is also our “hope.” When we take our eyes off the Lord, we lose hope and confidence. It returns when we “trust” in the Lord with all our hearts!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 5 – “For Thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my youth.”

- The dependency he had upon the Lord – verse 1
- The deliverance for which he prayed – verse 2
- The description of the Lord’s protection in his life – verses 3-4
- The destiny to which he was designed from his mother’s womb – verses 5-6
Verse for Meditation: Verse 5 – “For Thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my youth.”
Today's Prayer
“Thank You, Lord, that You were with me in my mother’s womb, and have promised never to leave me or forsake me.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
