Today's Bible Verse
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18

Today's Meditation - Psalms
Psalm 7:6-10
David appeals to the justice of God, and invites Him to “arise, O LORD, in Thine anger.” He is also very concerned about the “integrity” of his own heart. When it comes down to it, it does not matter what justification we use or defense of ourselves; what matters is our accountability to God! He alone “trieth the hearts and reins.” It is clear from Jeremiah 17:9-10 that we do not know ourselves, but the Lord knows everything about us – Hebrews 4:13.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 10 – “My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.”
