Moses calls Benjamin the Lord's beloved and says that he will enjoy His covering all day long while he rests between God's shoulders. I thank the Lord for the promises of security He provides to His children. They show the Lord's awesome love for us.

Today, our God and Father invites us to find solace in His embrace, where we can be completely secure. He is our safe place, a real place where we can "let down our hair" and relax. My prayer today is that we rest in our Heavenly Father's arms.

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for letting me come to Your throne room at any time of day or night to receive help and mercy when I need it. I pray that I can see the truth more clearly today as You tell me to jump into Your lap and rest deeply in Your arms. What a great way to start this great book! These beautiful verses tell us that we will have a blessed life if we don't listen to the world but instead enjoy the Word of the living God.

We are told that if we love the Lord and His Word, we will be like a tree planted by rivers of water that always bears fruit in its season and lives a wonderful life. When I read Psalm 1:1-3, my heart cries out that I want to be that person! I want to live a life that makes God happy and show His Word to everyone around me so that they can enjoy it and reflect on it.

In short, God loves us and wants to bless us in every way. We receive His promise of being fruitful when we listen to Him and do things that make Him happy. Today, I pray that we all say "yes" and "amen" to this promise and make it our own. We should all value what our Father loves and choose to live in a way that makes Him pleased.

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for the fruitfulness that comes with being born again. I thank You for the promises, which will lead me down the right path for Your name's sake. I say "yes" and "amen" to all the promises in your Holy Scriptures. It is a great chapter. It strongly shows safety and security by telling us that we live in the Most High's secret place. We read in today's promise that if we make our home in the Lord, no evil will come our way because we live in the fortress of the living God.

A lot of us have seen movies or read stories about big castles with high walls, moats, and lots of soldiers around them. But even that picture of safety and security isn't as comforting as the feeling of safety we get when we are under our heavenly Father's wing.

Jesus said we will face challenges, but we can take heart because He has already won. Being in the secret place means we can go to Him for safety and security when problems arise.

Today, I pray that we all feel safe and secure knowing that we can live in the heart of our God and Father, which is our safe place. As we dwell in the living God, I pray that fear will not be a part of our lives.

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for the safe place I have, which is under the shadow of your wing in my eternal union with Jesus. Please help me stay in this place of your unconditional love and acceptance as I feel safe in your arms every moment of every day. When I travel, there is nothing quite like returning home after an extended journey and seeing the familiar sights I always encounter. Taking off my shoes and relaxing is the first thing I do.

We are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of His own household, as we read in today's promise. The person who is "pulling down" someone else might feel better about themselves, at least for a while, by making them look bad. This is a very unhealthy way to live, but a lot of people think that God is going to do the same thing to us. He is just waiting for a chance to tell us what we did wrong and criticize us.

The opposite is true, though. God isn't waiting for us to mess up; He's always looking for ways to help us. In today's promise, we learn about how much God loves His people and how much He wants good things for them. He promises to only do good things for us, to help us grow, and to put us on solid ground.

Our God and Father is the most secure, loving, kind, and caring father in the whole world! He is always looking for new ways to help us so that we can live out our destiny as His beloved children. Today, I pray that we would just believe that this is true. God is on our side in every way!

Prayer:

Thank you, Father, for always caring about my well-being. You are always there to help me get back up when I fall.
