And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. ~1 John 4:16 There have been many times in my life when things have been hard, and I didn't have any easy answers or quick fixes for my problems. During these times, 1 John 4:16 has become important to me.
Love will always work out, no matter what. This is what the Apostle John tells us in today's promise. No matter what problems you're having right now, you can always count on God's love for you. His love will give you comfort, keep you going, and help you get through anything. Today, may we all run into the arms of our God and Father, knowing that His love will always be enough for us, no matter how hard our journey is. God is love. He loves you and me with an unconditional, everlasting love that is at the very core of who He is. May the truth of this promise sink deep into our hearts today so that we can learn to live in the love God has for us. Prayer: Thank you, Father, for letting me know and trusting Your love for me today, tomorrow, and forever. I know in my heart that nothing in all of creation can ever come between me and the love You have for me in Christ. So, right now, I ask for a bigger outpouring of your infinite love through your Holy Spirit living in me. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
