For I am the LORD, I change not . . (Malachi 3:6) As we start a new year, we need to remember this simple truth: God does not change. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever. God does not forget His promises, and they will come true just as He is truth. Given the constant changes in the world, the promise of our Father's eternal loyalty to us is deeply comforting.
Today is a new day and the start of a new year for us to see how faithful the Lord is. He will always be there for us and will never let us down. He loves us with all His heart, and every promise He makes that is true today will still be true a million years from now. I hope that this truth will make our lives more peaceful and safe. May we look forward to all the ways our Father will be faithful to us in the coming year. May this new year be better than you could ever have imagined! Prayer: Thank you, Father, for always being the same. You are the same every day, every year, and forever. Even though the world around me is constantly changing, Your love for me will never change, regardless of what happens on this side of heaven. So today, I choose to believe You are for me in every way, and I open my heart to receive more love from You than ever. In Jesus' name. Amen.
