Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. ~Romans 8:37 In verse 35, just before today's promise, the Apostle Paul talks about some of the problems that can happen to the Lord's loved ones. We read, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" He answers this question by explaining the inspiration behind today's promise!
Yet, we are more than conquerors through God's love in Jesus Christ. His amazing love elevates us beyond mere conquerors. God's love will help you get through any problems you have today. His amazing, unconditional, and everlasting love will never be able to separate you from anything. Today, I hope that we all feel His closeness and the truth of this promise in a real way. Let's all say together what Paul the Apostle wrote two thousand years ago . . . we are more than conquerors because He loved us! Prayer: Thank you, Father, for the love You have shown me in my relationship with Your Son, which has transformed me into more than a conqueror! I pray that I can live in the truth of your goodness today and let only your love define me. I know that I am loved with an everlasting love, and nothing in all of creation can ever break the wonderful bond I have with you in Christ. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
