Project NC
What is it? |
Project NC stands for Project "New Convert"
This ministry endeavor was born out of the need to provide discipleship Bible training materials for new converts won to Jesus Christ both in public (work, school, etc.) and in prison. These self-study booklets contain the text of the Gospel of John with explanatory footnotes (Henry Morris Study Bible published by New Leaf Publishing Group) along questions at the end of each Bible chapter. These are simple questions that give chapter and verse for easy look up and write down. These are introductory study booklets designed for someone who is unfamiliar with the Bible. We have started the Gospel of John. Each study booklet will contain three chapters out of John for a total of seven booklets. We believe the printed page is the best tool for this outreach and each booklet is designed to meet the requirements of nearly all jails (that is, no sharp edges and no staples). |
Your envolvement |
(1) Personally lead an individual to Christ and then give them booklet #1 (John 1-3). Encourage them to go through the booklet with you or by themselves. Before or after they complete the booklet, encourage them to contact us for booklet #2 or you may give them a copy.
(2) Help us make contacts with key individuals in the prison systems who can help us get this discipleship tool into the hands of inmates. (3) Use these tools for other groups of individuals who do not own a copy of the Bible but want to learn to understand the Bible on their own. |
