Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 42:6-11:
The constant refrain in this chapter – “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me?” – is an honest reflection of what God’s servants can and will at times experience. We cannot be “up” all the time; there are “down” times and we must face them with confidence in the Lord – His timing, His ways, and His promises.
Verse for Meditation
Verse 8 – “Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.”

- His remembrance of the Lord – verse 6
- His reflection upon what he was going through – verse 7
- His response to the Lord – verse 8
- His review of his difficulties – verses 9-10
- His return to the need of hope in the Lord alone – verse 11

Verse 8 – “Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.”
Today's Prayer
“Thank You, LORD, for being there when I was so discouraged.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
