Today's Bible Verse

Today's Bible Verse:
Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.  - Isaiah 44:8

Today's Bible Reading

Today's Bible Reading Plan selections can be found below. If you don't have a Bible with you, just click the references to read each passage online:

Old Testament
Joshua 20-21  —  8.0 minutes
Psalms 79  —  3.0 minutes

New Testament
Mark 3:20-35  —  3.0 minutes
1 Corinthians 7:1-16  —  4.0 minutes

Total Average Read Time — 18.0 minutes
This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
  • Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
  • Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Read Psalm 46:6-11
The victory of the Lord will be known to the whole world in the future. Our God, the “LORD of hosts,” will defeat all the nations of the world (Joel 3, Zechariah 12 and 14). He will be “exalted” in every person’s eyes, and the whole world will worship Him! When things seem so out of control, and the wicked continue to dominate the culture, never forget that judgment day is coming, and as a believer, you are on the winning side!
  1. The raging of the nations – verse 6
  2. The refuge we have – verse 7
  3. The results we will see – verses 8-9
  4. The total reliance we should have upon our God – verses 10-11
What wonderful comfort these words are! One day it will be clear to all of us – Our God reigns! And, best of all, He is “with us.”
Verse for Meditation: Verse 10 – “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Today's Prayer

“Lord, help me to be quiet and to meditate on Your coming victory over all the nations when You will be exalted before all.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.

The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
