Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 43:1-5:
David wanted deliverance, but he was also very aware of his discouragement. He makes it clear that God is his “exceeding joy” and the “health of my countenance.” Sometimes we can know what should be, but applying it is another matter. Is your hope in the Lord? Do you lay your burdens down at His feet? Do you praise Him?
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise Thee, O God my God.

- His prayer to God for justice and deliverance – verse 1
- His perplexity over his sorrow – verse 2
- His plea for God to act in his behalf – verse 3
- His praise of the Lord in spite of his depression – verses 4-5
Verse for Meditation: Verse 4 – Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise Thee, O God my God.
Today's Prayer
“Lord, I praise You for what You will do with the problems in my life.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
