Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 42:1-5:
It is always a delight to hike up the trail of En-Gedi (on the western side of the Dead Sea) to the waterfall and to remember David’s meditations in that beautiful place. There are still many animals who roam there, and the caves, any one of which could have been the one where David hid from Saul, are still quite visible. It was there that he drew near unto God and expressed over and over again his adoration and praise.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 2 – “My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”

- The panting of his soul after God – verses 1-2
- The pain out of which he was speaking – verse 3
- The praise of God which he enjoyed with the people of God – verse 4
- The peace he found was in God alone – verse 5
Verse for Meditation: Verse 2 – “My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”
Today's Prayer
“Lord, You are my hope, and I long for You; in my pain and troubles, cause me to know that You are there always.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
