Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 80:14-19
This is a prayer of repentance and a request for God to respond to their cries. The word “quicken” in verse 18 is like our word “revival.” Revival is rooted in turning away from our sin and rebellion and turning back to God. I Thessalonians 1:9-10 speaks of turning from “idols” in order to “serve the living God” and to “wait for His Son from heaven.” Perhaps today would be the day of revival for each of us as we turn back to the Lord.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 19 – “Turn us again, O LORD, God of hosts, cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”

- The desire for God’s help – verse 14
- The devastation that they experienced – verses 15-16
- The descent of the hand of God and His power – verse 17
- The dependency upon God that they needed – verse 18
- The deliverance that would only come from God – verse 19
Verse for Meditation: Verse 19 – “Turn us again, O LORD, God of hosts, cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”
Today's Prayer
“I call upon Your Name, O Lord, and I come back to You with all my heart.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
