Today's Bible Reading

Our Bible Reading Plan runs from the 1st to the 25th of each month.
The next reading will be on the 1st of next month. Check back then!

This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
• Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
• Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Read Psalm 78:62-66
The terrible consequences of Israel’s sin and disobedience are described in today’s portion of Psalm 78. It is a reminder of what our sin brings to our lives. But, the text also reveals that God will never give up on His people; His covenant is unconditional, and His love will never end. We thank the Lord for that!

1. The death of His people – verse 62
2. The destruction of marriage – verse 63
3. The desecration of the priesthood – verse 64
4. The decision of the Lord to stop it – verse 65
5. The defeat of Israel’s enemies – verse 66

Were it not for God’s interventions throughout the history of Israel, there would be no Israel today. In spite of the tragedies that occurred, God was still delivering His people. What wonderful encouragement that is to our hearts!
Verse for Meditation:​ Verse 65 – “Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.”

Today's Prayer

“Thank You, Lord, for delivering Your people, and for rescuing me on many occasions.”

Prayer Center     
     As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
    Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
