Today's Bible Verse

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Isaiah 52:7

Today's Bible Reading

June 1, 2020
Today's Bible Reading Plan selections can be found below. If you don't have a Bible with you, just click the references to read each passage online:

Old Testament
1 Kings 1  —  8.0 minutes
Psalms 119:1-8  —  1.0 minute

New Testament
Luke 1:1-25  —  6.0 minutes
Ephesians 1:1-14  —  3.5 minutes

Total Average Read Time — 18.5 minutes
This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
  • Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
  • Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Read Psalm 72:1-5
These words were spoken by David to his son, Solomon, referred to in verse one as “the king’s son.” Solomon is instructed about the importance of righteousness in judging the people, and that the result of righteous judgment will be peace. The words extend into the future and apply to the coming of Messiah, Who will reign in truth and righteousness.
  1. The source of righteous judgments – verse 1
  2. The substance of that judgment – verse 2
  3. The success of that judgment – verse 3
  4. The salvation which that judgment will bring – verse 4
  5. The submission to that righteous judgment – verse 5
When the Messiah comes, this passage will be fulfilled in every detail. It is also important for us to apply it in all of our relationships now.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 5 – “They shall fear Thee as long as the sun and moon endure.”

Today's Prayer

“Thank You, Lord, that one day everything will be made right and You will rule over all.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.

The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
