Old Testament
2 Samuel 16-17  —  8.0 minutes
Psalms 114  —  1.5 minutes

New Testament
Mark 15:1-15  —  3.0 minutes
Galatians 4:1-20  —  4.0 minutes

Total Average Read Time — 16.5 minutes
This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
  • Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
  • Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Read Psalm 68:30-35
This psalm praises the greatness of God, not only over the nations and kingdoms of this world, but over His universe. It is so important for those who love the Lord to remember His power and greatness and to praise Him – our problems, difficulties, and stresses in life, can sometimes seem overwhelming. Usually, at those times, we are neglecting to remember what God can do!
  1. The rebuke of the Lord of the nations – verses 30-31
  2. The response which the Lord desires – verse 32
  3. The riding of God upon the heavens – verse 33
  4. The recognition of His strength – verses 34-35
The end of the chapter says it all – “Blessed be God.” We are reminded that it is the God of all strength Who “giveth strength and power unto His people.” Praise Him, and definitely trust Him to do what we cannot do.
Verse for Meditation: Verse 34 – “Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, and His strength is in the clouds.”

Today's Prayer

“Thank You, Lord, for giving me Your strength when I am weak.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.

The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
