Today's Bible Reading

Old Testament
1 Samuel 24-25  —  8.0 minutes
Psalms 105  —  6.5 minutes

New Testament
Mark 12:35-44  —  2.5 minutes
2 Corinthians 10  —  4.5 minutes

Total Average Read Time — 21.5 minutes

This reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
  • Each month’s readings are based on 25 days worth of readings, which means you get several free days if you ever fall behind. This makes reaching your goal a lot more possible!
  • Each day’s readings will include selections from both the Old and New Testament, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures. Perhaps most important, you will focus daily on the life of Jesus by reading a portion of one of the Gospels every single day of the year.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.

Today's Meditation - Psalms

Read Psalm 65:1-7
David exhorts us in this psalm to worship the Lord, and to be “satisfied” with His goodness. Complaining about our difficulties never accomplishes anything. We need to express our praise and devotion to the One Who rules over all.
  1. The praise of God Who answers prayer – verses 1-2
  2. The purging of our sins – verse 3
  3. The place where we come to worship – verse 4
  4. The power of God that brings the answer to our prayers – verses 5-7
Are you really satisfied with God’s goodness? Is He really the “confidence” you have? God is able to do “exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think!”
Verse for Meditation: Verse 2 – “O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come.”

Today's Prayer

“Help me, Lord, to see Your power and the wonderful things that You will do in all the situations of my life.”
Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.

The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
