Today's Meditation - Psalms
Read Psalm 59:1-9
King Saul was threatened by God’s promise to put David on the throne. Saul and his men are trying to find David and put him to death. David writes this psalm in desperation, a man being hunted, not for his sins, but simply because God had chosen him. When God wants to use us in a mighty way, it does not mean we will be free from pressure, persecution, and slander. How we need to keep our eyes on the Lord alone!
Verse for Meditation: Verse 9 – “Because of his strength will I wait upon Thee: for God is my defence.”

Prayer Center
As Christians, we are called to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom. We feel it is more imperative than ever for believers to stand together in prayerful unity as the world continues on a downward spiral toward the Tribulation hour. Calamity causes people to waste huge amounts of time fixated on watching the destruction instead of praying for protection and God’s miraculous interventions.
The Bible is filled with verses encouraging us to stay focused on praying for God’s will for our lives; for the safety and wellbeing of our families, ministries and leaders; for the spiritual awakening of the unsaved so they to come to true salvation in Christ; and of course for one another and anything that the Lord places upon our hearts.
Up to the final moments of our days on earth, until the day of the Rapture of the Church, we are dedicated to be prayer warriors for the cause of Christ. Each Monday we publish prayer needs and invite fellow believers to pray.
